Privacy policy

This is a combined register description and information document in accordance with Sections 10 and 24 of the Personal Data Act (523/1999) and Articles 12 and 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016). The customer register is the property of Nordic Bubbles Oy (hereinafter “Novitek”) and will not be disclosed to third parties. All customer information is confidential. Novitek collects personal data when you place an order, participate in any competitions or otherwise send your personal data to our company, for example in the form of feedback, pool registration or contact. The personal data provided by the user is collected and stored in Novitek’s customer register. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and what it is used for.

Name of the register

Nordic Bubbles Oy’s customer register. The register consists of several sub-registers.

Purpose of registering personal data

– Delivery and invoicing of ordered products and services

– Provision of customer service

– Customer contact and marketing

– Resolving any problems that may arise

– Service development

The data in the register will be used for Novitek’s own direct marketing, unless the customer has prohibited direct marketing. Novitek may use this and other information generated during the customer relationship to develop, plan and target its operations and product offerings.

Data content of the register

As a rule, the customer register contains the customer’s contact details and ordering information: name, company, if any, country, address, telephone number, e-mail address and other possible customer-specific information. In addition, the customer register contains information on customer orders, deliveries, maintenance and returns. The data is used for contacting, managing customer relations, tracking service and targeting marketing.

Regular data sources

The customer register contains information provided by the customer and historical data accumulated during the customer relationship. Novitek collects personal data when a user places an order, participates in any contests or otherwise sends his/her personal data to our company, for example by contacting us.

Privacy Policy

The register is located on the company’s electronic system. The system is protected by normal corporate measures using existing methods.

The content of the register is processed only by employees whose work requires it. Access to the register is protected by user-specific identifiers and

passwords.

Our website is protected by an SSL certificate, which makes it safe to provide contact details.

Disclosure and transfer of data

No information will be disclosed for marketing purposes outside Novitek. Data may be selectively disclosed to third parties (service providers and partners) commissioned by the data controller, for example for the delivery of an order. The ownership of the data is not transferred from the controller to the third party and the third party does not have the right to use the data beyond the scope of the mandate.

We have ensured that all our service providers comply with data protection legislation. We regularly use the following service providers:

No information from the customer register is transferred or shared outside the EU and the euro area. Some of the above mentioned service providers may back up data outside the EU/EEA to the USA.

Right of access and updating of data

You have the right to review the personal data we hold about you. If you find any inaccuracies or omissions in your data, you can ask us to correct or complete the information. When you wish to inspect your data, requests for inspection should be sent in writing to the contact person.

You have the right to object at any time to us using your data for direct marketing. We will never sell or otherwise disclose your personal data

to other parties to enable them to target you for direct marketing. You can unsubscribe from our email marketing list yourself at any time

If you feel that processing some of your data is not necessary for our purposes, you have the right to ask us to remove the data in question.
